Thank you to everyone who has continued to visit me and leave messages while I was away. I guess y'all thought I had fallen off the face of the earth, huh? LOL Well, I'm still around, but I've been EXTREMELY busy these past few weeks and haven't had time to blog. I started a new job last month (thank God) and it's been taking up quite a bit of my time. I also made up my mind (FINALLY) about teaching...I'm gonna go for it. Lots to do to prepare for the Alternative Certification Programme. I'm in the beginning stages, i.e., having college transcripts sent, securing personal references, deciding which grades and subjects I'll teach, reviewing for the TASP test, figuring out how I'm gonna pay for my classes at Rice University, yadda, yadda. LOL
Unfortunately, my little weight-loss programme has been pushed to the back burner while I adjust to working again and prepare to join the ranks of our nation's educators. I do plan to resume my weight loss plan within the next few days or so. The good news is that I have managed to maintain my weight loss of 26 lbs. Hopefully it won't be much longer until I start exercising and eating better again.
That's pretty much it for now. I just don't have much time to blog and design like I had in the past, but I'm going to make an effort to start blogging at least once a week. I did manage to crank out a graphic of one of my all-time favourite crooners yesterday.
Rest In Peace, Love...

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be
brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?'' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't
feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory that is within us. It's not just some of us; it's in
every one of us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
